In reflecting back on 2025, I intend to carry forward our Advent theme and use the symbols of fire, whirlwind and water, while also looking through the lens of our ten-year strategic plan we launched this summer under the categories of Rooted, Reaching, and Leading with Love.
2025 was a difficult year and some of those challenges follow us into 2026. The year demanded we tend fire without letting it consume us. It demanded we stand steady inside a whirlwind. And it invited us to trust water—both the tears we shed in our sorrow and grief and the living water where Jesus promises, “Whoever drinks of this living water will never be thirsty again.”
Our annual report is not simply an accounting of programs, numbers, or milestones. It is a witness to who we are becoming together, how the Spirit is shaping us, and how love has been our guide.
